About Us

We are Darrell and Cynthia Garber and we have been breeding Labrador Retrievers along with our children since 2002. We live in the heart of California's central valley. We are a farming family with lots of acreage for a dog to run and play. Darrell is primarily an almond farmer and Cynthia has had the privilege to be mom full time.  We have four children; Meghan is a first grade teacher, Cody farms with Darrell and is married to Taja who is an elementary aide for third grade. Emily works at an elementary school as an aide to second grade and her husband Braiden works with Darrell farming. Braiden and Emily also breed beagles, as Rooster Valley Beagles. Our youngest, Mya, is in Junior High and she is our number one puppy snuggler!

 

With a love for hunting at a young age, Darrell was in pursuit of the perfect companion and working dog. Although we do not hunt with our Labradors, our love for the Labrador Retriever has given us the desire to produce a dog with a great temperament and a healthy genetic background. The overall health, temperament and conformation of each individual dog is taken into consideration before breeding.
