I got my Labrador, Leo, in Spring of 2020. After researching reputable breeders, Rooster Valley Labradors was one I thought very highly of. All the puppies stayed with their mom and litter mates, while also getting plenty of time to first interact with Darell, Cynthia, and their kids. I brought him home at 7-8 weeks with a record of his vet visits and vaccinations he received in the first weeks of his life.
I decided to get Leo as a puppy, as I needed a service dog and decided to owner-train along with a trainer. Since the beginning, Leo’s kind-hearted and fun loving attitude, as well as his willingness and will power to train and learn quickly, has been the best gift of my life. Three years later, my dog has been with me everywhere, including various states in the US, and has quite literally saved my life on multiple occasions. I couldn’t have asked for a better companion.

Thank you for sending me to such a lively family! I love to play hide n seek with all of the kids and obviously my favorite part of the day is “the TIME”!!! Is it time? They ask me and I turn circles! That means food! I still eat Life’s Abundance when I was a puppy with my dog mommy and siblings.
We go on walks almost everyday and I help my mom work from the recliner in her office almost everyday. Another favorite time is going swimming with the kids and jumping off the side and swimming at the lake! We go paddleboarding and hiking too in the mountains at the family cabin. I like it when the delivery person comes because I love to open presents! Mom always gives me the boxes to open as I am very fast.
My family say I’m funny and I sit, shake with both hands, lay down and added roll over. I have so many toys and I know most of them by name. Mom keeps them in a toy box so I know where to look for them. We went to see Santa for my first Christmas. Boy was I excited. Mom added the video as no words can describe how much she laughed and how elated I was to finally see him after all the hype! I do love to hug people!
My sister from Turlock came to visit and we met at the park and went swimming! We had so much fun that day with Sierra. She has a great family too!
Yes, I am blessed! I sleep next to my mom every night and with her most of the day. I get lots of belly rubs all throughout the day! My mom still hold me in her lap because I am a lap dog! Ohhhh, I got confused, I’m a Lab dog! Anyways, they say I am the best dog they ever had and I love them.

This is Posey, who's been such a joy to have as part of our family. She has the sweetest disposition, our kids adore her, and she's just a wonderful dog all around. She LOVES the water so I included a couple photos of her enjoying it, along with one of our family at the Russian River. I also had to include the one of her holding her Rooster Valley Labs baby blanket. ;)
